Thinking of coming to visit us this week?
What should I expect?
When you arrive, you'll be warmly greeted by our team. They can answer any questions and help you find where to go.
If you arrive at around 9:30am, join us in the church for a short program before separating into groups for Bible Study. Remember, there is no pressure here – just a group of friendly people chatting about life and God’s love. Do you have children or youth? If so, you will be excited to hear we have interactive Bible classes for all ages.
At 11:00am we'll meet together in the church to enjoy singing, prayer, a children’s story, and a message from our pastor.
After the main service, we invite you to stick around so we can get to know you better! We often have lunch together where everyone brings something to share –it's an opportunity to make new friends over delicious food.
No matter what you’ve been through or what questions you might have, our church is a place where you’ll find love, grace, and acceptance.
What Should I Wear?
Come as you are! We don’t have a dress code for our service, and believe that God is more interested in your heart than in what you’re wearing.
What about my kids?
Bring them! Our worship service caters to all ages, and every main service includes a children’s story – each child is welcome. We also have classes especially for children, where they will enjoy songs, crafts, and lessons from the Bible.
We are committed to providing a safe environment for our children and vulnerable persons. Safe Church – an organisation of the Seventh-day Adventist Church – helps to ensure that our church is safeguarded from sexual abuse and other forms of harm. Our church upholds their code of conduct, screens all volunteers who work with children and follows a child safety policy. Visit Adsafe for more information.
What does a church service involve?
A typical worship service includes worship songs, prayer, a children’s story, and a sermon from our pastor.
Why do you go to church on Saturday?
Exodus 20:11 says “… in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but He rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.”
We go to church on Saturday because it is the biblical day which God set aside as special – a day to rest from work and worship our Creator, enjoy community with others, and minister to those in need.
